The Leonardo Da Vinci Museum of North America, located in Pueblo, will open to the public on June 12th. The long awaited announcement occurred March 26 and a full schedule of the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebration and activities will be announced in April.
The museum is a unique attraction. It will be the only permanent Leonardo da Vinci Museum of its kind in North America. Project leaders say the concept carries a 10-year exclusivity agreement, meaning similar installations will not appear elsewhere on the continent during that time.
The museum celebrates the legendary Renaissance figure not just as an artist, but as an inventor, engineer, scientist and visionary. Designed as an immersive, interactive space, the museum aims to make art and innovation accessible to visitors of all ages.
