Citra Space Corporation Celebrates Growth with Ribbon Cutting at Colorado Springs Headquarters

By Digest Staff on June 17, 2026 Spotlight

The Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 17 celebrating the growth of Citra Space Corporation, a Colorado Springs-based veteran-owned company advancing next-generation space object characterization and Space Domain Awareness capabilities.

Founded in 2024 by veterans of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force and the commercial space industry, Citra Space enables high-confidence Space Object Identification, moving operators beyond tracking objects to understanding what they are, what they are doing and how they may impact operations.

The company raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Washington Harbour Partners in April. The round included participation from Industrious Ventures, Reliable Properties and existing investors including Scout VC, Squadra Ventures, Alumni Ventures and Flex Capital.

The event featured remarks from community leaders and company representatives, followed by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and facility tour.
