Phil Long Dealerships raised $89,950 in its third-annual “Thanks, Jay” giveback campaign, held in honor of the automotive group’s previous President and CEO Jay Cimino, who passed away in February 2024.

    Raised in 2026

    $89,950

    Three-Year Total

    $283,400

For every new and pre-owned vehicle sold in April — the month of Cimino’s birthday — donations were made to five community-focused organizations and projects. Phil Long’s Service Departments also made donations to Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center for each routine maintenance or repair visit at any Phil Long location during April.

“Jay dedicated his life to connecting others to the resources they need to be their best. We are proud to carry on that legacy. Thank you to all our customers. Your continued trust in us allows us to make such a strong, positive impact in our community, today and for the future.”

    — Kevin Shaughnessy, President and CEO, Phil Long Dealerships

Cimino had 49 years of service at Phil Long and retired shortly before his passing. Renowned for his philanthropic efforts, he helped establish Fishers Peak State Park and a community fund to champion the self-esteem and success of local youth across the Front Range. He also created three nonprofits that provide free resources and support to Colorado residents.
