Colorado Springs Arts Grants Awarded to Expand Student Access in Harrison District 2

By Digest Staff on April 28, 2026 Daily News

Two Southern Colorado organizations have been awarded Arts in Society Grants. Administered by RedLine Art and funded through a cohort of Colorado foundations and government agencies, Arts in Society grants support health and education work through the arts across Colorado.

The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPR) has been awarded a $35,000 Arts in Society grant to support a new initiative restoring arts access in two Harrison School District 2 elementary schools in southeast Colorado Springs. The project will begin during the 2026–27 school year and is expected to reach over 300 students by integrating the arts into delivery of core academic subjects.
