    Colorado Startup Soresu Develops AI Network Technology to Protect Space Defense Systems

    It’s no surprise that a company named Soresu is reaching for the stars.

    Aurora-based Soresu built a novel, defense-focused technology that spreads machine learning and AI computations across many devices in a network in such a way that the network can continue to perform critical functions if part of the network goes dark, co-founder Evan Gibson says. In the space domain, it can continue tracking and reacquiring objects in space that get lost to the ground sensors that track them, even if substantial parts of the network are lost. The company also provides direct services to the federal government.
