Lola Woloch: Advancing a Pro-Business Climate in Colorado

The Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (SCWCC) recently took an important next step in raising the visibility of our members at the State Capitol. Our Day at the Capitol in February marked the beginning of an ongoing dialogue with the elected officials who shape the policies impacting small businesses across our region.

During our meetings, we shared the SCWCC legislative scorecard, outlining where lawmakers are aligned — or misaligned — when it comes to supporting a healthy business climate in Colorado Springs. They provided an opportunity for our members to meet their representatives face-to-face and share real stories about how state laws are affecting their businesses, both positively and negatively.
