Integrated health care and coverage that helps deliver better outcomes at lower costs

Get to know Kaiser Permanente

Business leaders are constantly facing new challenges. To set your business up for success, you need a partner that’s focused on protecting the health of your workforce and your bottom line.

Kaiser Permanente is Colorado’s leading nonprofit1 health plan and one of the state’s largest health care providers. We offer health care and coverage together. Our unique model provides a fully-connected health care system where doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and a health plan collaborate — sharing the same electronic medical record — to maximize employee health and minimize employer costs.

Care that’s simple from the start

For new member Matt Blomstedt, Kaiser Permanente is unlike any experience he’s had in health care. He quickly got established with his care team and learned about his benefits with help from our New Member Connect Team. Now, he can take care of many of his health care needs in a single visit at most of Kaiser Permanente’s 29 Front Range medical offices, including our 5 medical offices in Southern Colorado.

Hear more from Matt and Derrick Washington, Director of New Member Experience for Kaiser Permanente Colorado, about what makes Kaiser Permanente different — and better.

When you choose Kaiser Permanente, your employees can seamlessly transition their care with support from our New Member Connect Team that’s responsible for:

  • Helping members choose a doctor close to their home, work, or school, and connecting members with specialists.
    • Kaiser Permanente has more than 1,200 world-class doctors practicing in 40+ specialties.
    • Members can also see a doctor from our network of 21,000+ affiliated providers.
  • Connecting members to a clinical pharmacist who assists them with transferring prescription medications or setting up prescription refills.
  • Guiding members through online account setup, downloading the Kaiser Permanente mobile app, and accessing multiple virtual care options available 24/7.

It’s unique to us to have a team of people that are energetic about helping our new and returning members to Kaiser Permanente. We put our members’ minds at ease as they transition their care.” Derrick Washington, Director of New Member Experience, Kaiser Permanente Colorado

More ways to care for your employees

Construction is underway on a brand-new, 15,500-square-foot Kaiser Permanente medical office that will replace our current Pueblo North location. Scheduled to open in late 2025, the new Pueblo North medical offices will provide more space to deliver primary care, some specialty care, and pharmacy, lab, and imaging services under one roof.
