CO-HOSTED BY THE AEROSPACE CORPORATION
Slated for September 24-25, in Colorado Springs, the summit will focus on geopolitical, economic, and cybersecurity impacts on global space. VOSS V will cover the future of space threats, potential solutions, and the innovative ideas that come from collaborative conversations.
VOSS V is expected to have an immediate impact on the global space community as the event convenes a variety of perspectives from across the space enterprise. The summit’s audience includes stakeholders from industry, academia, the nonprofit research and development community, and collaborators from the United States government, its allies, and partners.
“Everyone relies on space, and VOSS V is important because it provides a platform for the global space industry to collectively address physical and cybersecurity challenges,” said Erin Miller, Space ISAC executive director. “VOSS V will promote understanding about how the modern world relies on space to ensure the future viability and security of space systems. Space ISAC continues to convene the global space community to emphasize the need for proactive strategies and cyber resilience in a rapidly evolving space environment.”
The Aerospace Corp. is co-hosting the summit for the fifth year.
“VOSS has emerged as a chief venue amplifying the national and global interest in space systems information sharing and partnerships in support of collective defense, and Aerospace is pleased to co-sponsor VOSS with the Space ISAC for the fifth consecutive year,” said Samuel S. Visner, board chair of the Space ISAC and technical fellow at The Aerospace Corporation, one of Space ISAC’s founding members. “VOSS publicizes critical work being done across the space community to accelerate commercial integration in vital mission areas—including cislunar, space rescue and safety, and digital ecosystems—and to expand awareness and use of testbeds to deploy novel space capabilities more quickly. We appreciate the key vantage point VOSS offers to seed new collaborative opportunities across space sectors, both within the U.S. and with international allies and partners, and to move from discussions on threats, risks, and opportunities into action and results.”
VOSS V features both invitation-only discussions and panel sessions available to the public. Join Space ISAC as we bring together experts to share information, discuss key issues and learn from others operating in commercial, international, and defense space to address cyber and physical threats.
