Senior Writer
Wayne Heilman retired in 2022 after 40 years as a business writer and editor for the Colorado Springs Gazette. Now a freelance writer, his work appears in The Gazette, NORTH magazine, the Southern Colorado Business Forum & Digest and The Long Run, the newsletter of the Pikes Peak Road Runners club. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri.
